The Pandora Shine Collection is a new line of 18k gold-plated jewelry coming with the Pandora Spring 2018 collection.

PANDORA SHINE — REVIEW

Pan­do­ra Shine is Pan­do­ra’s first major new con­cept since the launch of the Pan­do­ra Rose line back in 2014. Let’s start with the fact that the col­lec­tion will be sold only in brand­ed stores and on the Inter­net.

Shine jew­el­ry is ster­ling sil­ver jew­el­ry with 18k gold. The launch will be very dif­fer­ent from the exist­ing Pan­do­ra gold line, which is made from 14 carat gold and is much lighter.

The struc­ture of the prod­uct con­sists of sev­er­al lay­ers — ster­ling sil­ver is cov­ered with a lay­er of pal­la­di­um, and then with a very thick lay­er of 18 carat gold.

PANDORA SHINE BRACELETS

The Pan­do­ra Smooth bracelet is almost a clas­sic bracelet thread, only with­out the usu­al bulges. If you want your charms to stay in place you will need sil­i­cone rings and clips or retain­ers with sil­i­cone pads inside.

Adjustable bracelet — slight­ly refresh­ing, beau­ti­ful­ly craft­ed. The unusu­al struc­ture of the bracelet gives it a cer­tain play­ful mood and will draw atten­tion to itself.

We absolute­ly love this Pan­do­ra Shine bracelet — the con­trast between the met­als is beau­ti­ful. A gild­ed heart is a kind of high­light with a rather sim­ple design.

The Hon­ey­bee bracelet is the only non-charm bracelet option and will be a lim­it­ed edi­tion.

CHARMS

One of the main rea­sons for the suc­cess­ful adver­tis­ing cam­paign of the Pan­do­ra Shine line is the Queen Bee pen­dant. It is made in the small­est detail, amaz­ing work­man­ship — black shiny enam­el, cubic zir­co­nia stones, chis­eled ele­ments and a small, but at the same time prac­ti­cal­ly, the main accent — a tiny heart, make up a com­plete­ly sol­id com­plet­ed ele­ment! In addi­tion, the motifs of the queen bees are now play­ing an impor­tant role in pro­mot­ing wom­en’s empow­er­ment com­pa­ny Pan­do­ra and high­light their adver­tis­ing slo­gan — do cel­e­brate, do shine, do Pan­do­ra (Cel­e­brate, Shine, Pan­do­ra).

The Heart and Bee is refresh­ing, free of any enam­el or glit­ter, we love the lit­tle detail of the bee pen­dant. This is one of our favorite charms, but still won­der­ing if it has carv­ings.

This open­work bead can become one of our favorites: a hon­ey­comb filled with hon­ey, a bee with black sparkling enam­el — what could be more beau­ti­ful. ^^

The Gold­en Hon­ey charm offers a beau­ti­ful com­bi­na­tion of col­ors. Amber enam­el and gold­en hon­ey­combs are a great com­bi­na­tion and con­vey the feel­ing that you have a small bar­rel of hon­ey on your hand.

Hon­ey­comb Lace is a beau­ti­ful open­work carved heart set with pure cubic zir­co­nia stones.

The lat­est bee-and-hon­ey-themed pen­dant is Sweet as Hon­ey. We think it would be more organ­ic not to use cubic zir­co­nia stones at the base of the pen­dant and if the bee was larg­er and dec­o­rat­ed with black enam­el stripes. An inter­est­ing fea­ture of this pen­dant is that the evi­dence con­sists of two ele­ments — a “tiger’s eye” stone and a gold­en spi­ral wrapped around it, giv­ing the shape of a bee­hive.

Pan­do­ra approached her first col­lec­tion with gild­ing very care­ful­ly, extreme­ly care­ful­ly choos­ing motifs and con­cepts that would com­ple­ment each oth­er and look har­mo­nious in gold – togeth­er with hon­ey and bees, we were also pre­sent­ed with two charms in the form of solar disks. The Rays of Sun­shine charm is craft­ed with warm yel­low enam­el and cubic zir­co­nia on its edges.

The You are my Sun­shine pen­dant will serve as a won­der­ful sym­bol of express­ing your warm feel­ings, as it con­tains a secret mes­sage that says “You are my sun­shine.”

There is only one Mura­no in the Pan­do­ra Shine line. It is white pig­ment­ed Mura­no glass in a swirling swirl design. White glass and gold frame — a per­fect com­bi­na­tion, a com­bi­na­tion of beau­ty and ver­sa­til­i­ty.

The Filled with Romance open­work charm is one of our favorites. It has already been pre­sent­ed in sil­ver and in the Rose line.

The only con­nect­ing chain we’ve been intro­duced to this launch is a gold-plat­ed ver­sion of the Pan­do­ra Logo chain.

The Shin­ing Ele­gance clip has sil­i­cone pads on the inside, per­fect for any of the new­ly-deceased bracelets, and will pair won­der­ful­ly with the charms above.

There are also two clips that are hol­low inside. To fix them on any bracelet from the Pan­do­ra Shine col­lec­tion, you will need sil­i­cone rings.

It’s nice to see clip-on ear­rings with­out the use of zir­co­nia stones were also includ­ed in the line, but I would also like to see some­thing not so brand­ed. A sim­ple round clip would be great and would fit more with the bees and hon­ey theme.

The Gold­en Pavé Ball charm com­bines cubic zir­co­nia stones in dif­fer­ent sizes and col­ors.

Con­clud­ing the review of charms, I would like to men­tion one more new petite — a minia­ture bee with black stripes will per­fect­ly dec­o­rate the medal­lion and give it a slight play­ful­ness.

PANDORA SHINE JEWELERY

NECKLACE

A match­ing pen­dant has been released for the Rays of Sun­shine charm — it’s very large and prob­a­bly best for a neck­lace, not a bracelet.

Like­wise with the Hon­ey­comb Lace pen­dant. If you choose a pen­dant or charm, we would advise you to choose a pen­dant. A more refined exe­cu­tion of the pen­dant gives it an extra­or­di­nary charm.

The sim­ple Shine chain will per­fect­ly com­ple­ment any pen­dant from this line.

The well-known Heart neck­lace, which was pre­vi­ous­ly released in sil­ver, is now pre­sent­ed in gild­ing. The chain on this neck­lace is 45cm but is adjustable to 42cm or 38cm.

Chok­er Hon­ey­bee will be released in lim­it­ed edi­tion. It real­ly looks beau­ti­ful on your neck, empha­siz­ing its sophis­ti­ca­tion.

RINGS

The Hon­ey­comb Lace ring, like the charm, is a very bright piece of jew­el­ry — it cer­tain­ly looks great, but we think it is too big in size!

The Hon­ey­bee ring is anoth­er piece of jew­el­ry that will be released in a lim­it­ed edi­tion. The hon­ey­comb shape of the ring is incred­i­bly charm­ing!

From the images that we were pro­vid­ed, it is impos­si­ble to under­stand exact­ly how the yel­low stone will be com­bined with yel­low gild­ing, so we will not draw con­clu­sions until we see it live!

The Enchant­ed Crown Ring will be released this spring in the Rose range and in the Clas­sic Sil­ver range.

The fol­low­ing set of rings offers us the exist­ing Pan­do­ra designs only in the Shine ver­sion. We espe­cial­ly love Linked Love in gold — it’s so pret­ty and ele­gant!

EARRINGS

The Bee & Heart stud ear­rings are so cute, you can’t wait to get them. The dif­fer­ent design of the front part makes them even more attrac­tive and eye-catch­ing.

Hon­ey­comb Lace ear­rings con­tin­ue this series of jew­el­ry and per­fect­ly com­ple­ment the neck­lace.

Our review ends with PANDORA For­ev­er ear­rings. Won­der­ful lacon­ic ear­rings cap­ti­vate with their ele­gance and insane radi­ance.

We have only pos­i­tive impres­sions from the gild­ed Pan­do­ra Rose line. There­fore, we were wild­ly excit­ed about the upcom­ing Pan­do­ra Shine yel­low gold col­lec­tion, as jew­el­ry made entire­ly of gold is quite expen­sive. But we also per­fect­ly under­stand those who are wor­ried that this col­lec­tion will reduce the price of their gold jew­el­ry. Although the price of the new line is a lit­tle high, it still remains more afford­able than pure gold.

Pan­do­ra made the right choice with bees, bum­ble­bees and sweet hon­ey as the main motifs – they rep­re­sent the good points in Shine, offer­ing mod­ern and cute designs that work well in gold. There is noth­ing like this in the exist­ing Pan­do­ra col­lec­tions, and this imme­di­ate­ly gives Shine its own per­son­al­i­ty and char­ac­ter.
